An Epitaph
They always fought when she was alive. She was a tyrant. We hoped he would enjoy his new freedom. Sadly, he was just too lost without her. after he died, we found her death certificate and an old sepia photo of them together under his pillow.
His was love that had quietly weathered 65 years.

She was a tyrant. She could not help it. She knew he loved her, she knew about the picture. She loved him too. And that was the problem. Expectations were the killers. She expected too out much of him.
She never did stop . Not even at the very end. She loved him. How could she ?

I dont know who is being talked about....but, I have seen such a couple in real life! And I was close to them....real close! Brilliant how you could capture the exact emotions....
